Stain Removal: Hot & Spicy Prawns

Seafood - and this dish in particular - is one of my personal favourites and a real crowd-pleaser. Perfect for BBQ's or Sunday lunch. It's easy to whip up, yet even easier to splash hot oil and sauces on yourself while cooking. So we've complimented our recipe with an easy-to-follow stain removal guide! Enjoy!

Hot & Spicy Prawns
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
  • 115g unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice. Thinly slice the rinds of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 30 medium-large peeled prawns, leave tails on (heads optional)
  • 1.5 teaspoons coarse rock salt & freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Chopped italian parsley & chives to garnish
Heat a deep fry pan over medium to high heat. Add butter and melt until foamy. Add garlic, rosemary, lemon juice & rinds. Stir. Add Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco and bring to a simmer. Season prawns with salt & pepper, cook for 3-4 minutes in pan. Take off heat and garnish dish with parsley & chives. Serve with chunks of baguette.
