Australian Laundry Detergents Go Phosphate Free

According to the Herald Sun, Unilever is eliminating phosphates from its popular OMO, Surf and Drive Laundry Detergents.

Earlier this month supermarket chain, Aldi, vowed to go phosphate free and now supermarkets Coles and Woolworths have stepped up to the plate as well.

Australian households do 1.9 billion washes every year. The removal of phosphate, which has been identified as a contributor to blue green algae in Australia's waterways, is a positive step for our planet's health.

If you want to go Green, elaundry stocks organic & natural environmentally-friendly cleaning products in our online store, such as Murchison-Hume, Bosisto's, EcoStore & Cinderella.
