A great deal of time as a parent is spent in the laundry room mostly because your child has found finger painting in red sauce their new favorite thing to do at the dinner table, as much as we love our kids, I have decided to share some safety tips for your laundry room!

Children find the clothes washer one of the most interesting machines clothes go in get thrown around and around and around with suds to only come out of the wash damp, to you and I this is just a daily routine however to a child it is intriguing which makes it all the most important to safety proof your washing machine! A child can drown in 2 inches of water, hence making it important to read on!

Investing in child proof locks is the most simple way to ensure your child's safety. Front loading washers are very easily assessable to small children. So it is most important to ensure that the doors are locked.

A scary yet very real example of tragedy happened in America when siblings locked the washer door on their brother and pressed the power button the child was killed, sometimes it is the most awful things that really make everyone aware of such safety precautions.
