Laundry hampers are a great addition to any laundry, bedroom or bathroom. They are not only handy but also stylish however the style can live short when they smell!
It is inevitable that a laundry hamper will smell, due to all the dirty duds that get thrown into it. Here are some handy hints to make sure your stylish hamper stayes just that way and odor free.
If your laundry hamper is made out of material that is water friendly, use a mixture of hot water and baking soda, scrub the material and leave hamper outside to air until dry.
If you have a wooden hamper it is best not to try the wet mixture. Place hamper outside to air along with a container of baking soda inside the hamper with the lid shut. Leave over night if the smell persists it is best to try a disinfectant spray like Cinderella Multi Purpose Spray.
