Teach Teens Laundry: It is possible

Teaching your teens about laundry is the last thing they would like to be taught, however this is a life skill that they definitely need as I am sure you are not going to be doing their laundry forever....

Step one:
Teach your teen about labels, care labels will teach the, what needs to be done with the garment. Pile all hand wash items in a pile, along with all "Dry Clean Only" in to a separate pile etc... Very simple yet very effective and can all be done very easily.
Step two:
Colors are also important, separating whites, pastels, light greys and whites and white print background type garments will also go into separate darker color piles. Separating clothing into types of fabric will benefit nothing worst than adding a towel into fleece and having little fur balls stuck to clothing. Close all zips and buttons on all garments before sticking them into the wash!
Step three:
Stain removal ok so your teen may be past bordom, but this is imperative! Begin by introducing them to a general stain remover Cinderella Stain Remover not only smells amazing but also is in a teen friendly squirt bottle.

Step four:
A simple temperature wash guide is a great and simple way for your teens to learn what can be cleaned at what temp elaundry has a great guide click here to load it!

Step five:
Purchasing a general detergent is best for teens that way they will never go wrong pefect solution is Bosistos Euco Fresh Laundry powder.

Step Six:
Always hang or dry clothing never leave to sit for hours in the machine. This is imperative to learn as a teen will save hours of laundry and your water bill with all the re-washes.
