Winter is definitely on its way, and you may have already swapped your summer bedding for more appropriate winter bedding. However before you think that those sheets are clean when they have been sitting in the laundry cupboard for the past 6months think again. It may just save you a few sniffles and sneezes this winter.
Reduce Dust Mites in a few simple steps:
Bed Linen:
Before changing your summer sheets for winter ensure dust mites are not lurking in what seems like clean sheets. Wash bed linen in hot water ranging between 130- 140 degrees F. Try to wash at least once a week however a handy hint if washing once a week is not viable spray bedding with Bosistos Euc Spray it will clean and refresh bedding.
Towels and Bathmats:
Always wash towels and bath mats after two of three uses, also wash in hot water 130-140 degrees.
Curtains and Home Fabrics
Regular vacuuming is best to keep dust mites and other nasty bits and pieces at bay in regards to curtains. Leave to air outside as well to reduce smells.
