The Lord Major’s Community Trust held the ‘Lady Mayoress’ Mixed Business and Pleasure Networking Lunch’ on Friday the 27th of August 2010.
This lunch was put together for a very special purpose. Apart from mixing business and pleasure, all of the glamorous women attending the function share the same passion - that of helping those less fortunate.
Armed with this special mission, the elaundry team were more than happy to attend (making an outstanding entry dressed in hot pink and black!) What's more, elaundry were proud supporters of the event, and willingly donated 10% of all sales of the infamous Hollywood Fashion Products to the Lord Mayor's Community Trust Fund. Other supporters included Essie, Lily Jewels, La La Latrobe, La Moda Imports, Just Beautiful and Joli Boutique.
The luncheon showcased upcoming Brisbane designer Sacha Drake. Her garments were lively with bright colours and floral prints - reminiscent of Spring & Summer - and when worn, her silk garments gracefully flowed, filling the entire catwalk.
The wonderful venue was complimented by great food and great company, and the success of the general raffle made this day a spectacular time. The highlight of the afternoon was the successful total raised, adding to the community trust fund.
