Laundry starch is for those who want a crisper appearance to their clothing. The use of laundry starch can be traced back to at least the sixteenth century, when it was used to provide more body and stiffness to the ruffs and wide collars that were common elements on apparel worn by the upper classes. Making your own eco-friendly laundry starch at home is easy, and economical.
